The new Lodge development at Winchcombe is based around a peaceful fishing lake.

It includes two bedroom Lodges, in a stylish L-shaped design.

The Area

Winchcombe is a beautiful, unspoilt Cotswold town where you will still find traditional butchers, bakers and greengrocers.

It is a paradise for walkers, with many marked trails meeting at the town. The Cotswold Way goes from Chipping Norton to Bath and claims to be the best marked trail in England.

The new St Kenelms Way covers sixty miles, linking many sites associated with medieval England’s most important Saint. It ends at Winchcombe, the Saints' burial place, finishing at the spectacular grounds of Sudeley Castle.

The Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway operates steam trains on part of the old Great Western main line. There are currently 20 miles of track and you can join a train at Toddington station. Volunteers are working to increase this distance all the way from Cheltenham to Stratford-upon-Avon.

The Cotswolds are often considered quintessentially English, with cottages of honey-coloured stone and amazing 17th century churches – built with the profits of the wool trade. Local villages like Broadway and Bourton-on-the-Water are lovely places to explore at any time of year.

This tranquil location is still easily accessible, being just seven miles from the M5. Tewkesbury, with its fine Norman Abbey, is eight miles away and the elegant spa town of Cheltenham is within striking distance.
