About the area - Winchcombe
Close to Alderton village, this lodge site offers all the nostalgic splendour of the Cotswolds, with the modern luxuries you would expect from a holiday home. - Winchcombe Town – To the south east of the site. This is home to the Folk and Police Museum as well as numerous Cotswolds stone buildings.
- The Cotswolds Farm Park – With an unrivalled collection of rare British farm animals. This was Britain’s first farm park.
- Sudeley Castle – Home to Catherine Parr, the last wife of Henry VIII. Features lovely gardens and Pheasantry, home to 15 rare and endangered species.
- Tewkesbury Abbey – Has the largest Romanesque tower in England.
- Cheltenham – Is to the south west of the site. With many festivals taking place throughout the year, there is something for all tastes.
- Broadway Tower – Offers views of up to 13 counties, weather permitting.
