The Area

The development is within easy walking distance of the vibrant town of Keswick.

Right at the heart of the town is the “Market Place”, recently sympathetically renovated to provide a safe pedestrianised, friendly shopping experience, retaining all of its old world charm.

The shops and restaurants provide a mix of high street names and local traders offering a wide variety of locally produced crafts and produce.

Keswick also caters for cultural interests with a popular theatre and a wide choice of museums and art and craft galleries.

If it’s history you’re after, the 4,000 year old sits on Castlerigg hilltop overlooking Keswick in its lovely valley setting.

The area is also famous for its early lead mining, quarrying, farming and pencil manufacturing which are at the centre of many visitor attractions throughout the area.

The Lake District is the ultimate destination for experiencing outdoor activities offering numerous opportunities to enjoy cycling, walking, golf, horse riding, rock climbing and of course water sports, including boating from your Lodge.

Whether you like to be active or just relax and take in the scenery, then this location will be ideal for you.
